The present invention relates to a method for transporting hydrogen from a floating wind turbine to a watercraft. Further, the present invention relates to a floating wind turbine.
Technological Background
Offshore wind turbines known in the prior art are operated in a network as wind farms in the coastal foreland of the seas. For the stationary placement of such offshore wind turbines in the seabed, massive foundation structures are provided. The electricity generated by offshore wind turbines is transported through export cables to a power transfer station on land.
The foundation of offshore wind turbines to the seabed through structures restricts the suitable geographical areas of operation to coastal areas. In addition, the laying and maintenance of export cables are complex and costly.
Statement of the Invention: Task, solution, advantages
The present invention is based on the task of generating environmentally friendly energy through an offshore wind turbine in a simple and safe way from the offshore wind turbine to shore. Furthermore, the present invention is based on the task to provide an offshore wind power plant through which energy can be generated, and which can also be used outside the coastal regions.
To solve the problem underlying the invention, a method for the hydrogen from a floating wind turbine to a watercraft is proposed. watercraft, wherein hydrogen is provided in a storage tank of a floating wind turbine, wherein a watercraft is positioned at the floating wind turbine with a transport tank, and wherein the hydrogen is and wherein the hydrogen is transported from the storage tank through a conduit from the storage tank to the transport tank through a conduit adapted to transport the hydrogen.
Thus, in the method according to the invention, hydrogen is provided in a storage tank of a floating wind turbine is transported from the floating wind turbine to a wind turbine to a watercraft, for example to a ship or a tanker or a ship or a tanker or tanker ship. The hydrogen can be in an unbound form or in a form bound in a carrier medium.
In contrast to the prior art, the electric power generated by the wind turbine is thus not electricity generated by the wind turbine is not transported to a land-based transfer station on land. Rather, as explained in more detail below, the electrical power generated by the wind turbine can be used to production of hydrogen. The floating wind turbine provided in the process thus preferably serves to produce of environmentally friendly “green” hydrogen.
In accordance with the invention, the proposed process does not provide that the hydrogen provided in the storage tank be transported to shore via undersea lines or pipelines to land. In particular, no subsea-laid lines or pipelines are provided. Instead, according to the invention, the hydrogen provided in a storage tank in the floating wind turbine is transported to the transport tank of a wind turbine through a transport tank of a watercraft positioned near the floating wind turbine, e.g., a positioned near the floating wind turbine, for example, a ship or tanker, positioned near the floating wind turbine. Through the watercraft, in particular the ship or tanker, the hydrogen can be a tanker, the hydrogen can then be transported to land. ……………………………………………………………………………
